Pagnawath is originally from Cambodia. He discovered his passion for languages and cross-cultural communication after college, when he became a reporter for Business News, an English-language business weekly in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. Due to his grasp of the English language, he then became a newscaster on the National Television of Cambodia (TVK), where he hosted the network’s News and World Report program, which is the only nationally televised news program broadcast exclusively in English.
While building his journalist career on television, he also worked on a variety of translation projects for the government and private firms. Pagnawath has the acute language skills to also translate articles official reports, contracts, executive summaries, VIP speeches, and many other less official documents.
Pagnawath is currently based in sunny California, USA. He’s an active member of The National Association of Judiciary Interpreters and Translators (NAJIT) and has continued to work with private clients, law offices and more than 100 translation companies and agencies worldwide.
